The majority of the managers that participated in this season have NO right to ever make insidious remarks regarding the commitment level of former GIMP manager, Louis Michaelos. Never again will there be any discussion about taking the 'G' off the acronym and when and if he has wants to participate again in the league there should be no objections from 80% of the current managers. Louis played his matches last season with more regularity than the majority of you and he didn't even have an Xbox at his disposal. I don't even want to think how many matches we'd be behind if any of you had to drive to play a match.
Oh The Irony
So much for a shorter season. The same managers that complained about the length of a season with 3 fixtures per opponent have taken it upon themselves to drag this season out of 4 months. Next year the 12 day rule MUST be in-forced. Pruitt has been very lenient this season and has realized himself that he must take a harder approach when dealing with a situation like this. If you don't want to play your matches than let us know and we'll forfeit your matches and replaces you.
Why did we vote to have only one team relegated?
I know why Tindle voted the way he did but why did all the other managers vote to have only one team relegated. I would love to hear some explanations in the comment section to this one. Arsenal has done absolutely nothing to deserve to stay up this season. They shoot from corners and from the kickoff, their players routinely find themselves going into the referees book and its all but a guarantee that they will concede at least one penalty a match. If we can't have two teams relegated than why not do what the Champo does and have a small little 'playoff' game to see who can stay up. I'd love to see an improved Cushing take on Tindle at this point to see who stays up.
What Can We do for You?
Its growing abundantly clear that the GIMP is starting to lose its luster. Everyone use to play their matches on time and were more than happy to participate on the blog. Its foolish for me to think that everyone will read this post, but if you do we'd love to hear what we can do to make the GIMP more appealing to you again.
And I don't want to hear people saying that they are still "excited" about the league. If you were you'd play your matches on time. Don't try to pull that s*** this time. Thanks
No one can be arsed to read the posts let alone click to see comments so I'm pretty sure I'd get more accomplished by yodeling into my clothes hamper, but here goes anyway:
ReplyDeleteNext season, plan ahead. If you fancy yourself one of those ADD types that loses interest in something after a month or two, or one of those resentful, sulk-happy twunts that resent being told how/when to do something you agreed to do, feel free to sit this thing out.
Conversely, if you claim to enjoy this whole GIMP thing, then f-ing participate. Play. Follow the rules you bloody voted for, and don't be afraid to get stuck in on this blog. You used to have fun on these pages, and when you did it was more enjoyable for all involved so pull your head out.
Finally, stop pretending to be busy. You're not an ER doctor. You've a set schedule and your droll lives are utterly predictable. Let us help you fill them with digital football meaning.
