After claiming GIMP Gold in the international tournament, manager Liam Pruitt has now switched his focus to extending Liverpool's 9-match win streak.He said: "The internationals were a nice respite, but now you've got to say, job done, on to the next competition. 10 [in a row] would be nice but the record is simply icing, the trophy is all that matters. It's in our hands, we have to do our job and win."
The league this year has been very unpredictable, except at the top of the table, where Liverpool have not relinquished the top spot since opening day.
When asked if a DFA treble was probable, Liam said, "Possible but not probable, there are still great teams with good managers left in each competition with some solely targeting the cup. It will be tough for sure, you need skill as well as a bit of luck to win in this association."
