Liverpool's unbeaten season rolled on last night, following a 2-3 victory over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. No GIMP club has finished a season unbeaten, and Liverpool are now 90 minutes away from doing just that. The club standing between them and the record books is no other than Barcelona, the most talented club in the DFA.

A Fernando Torres hat trick saw the Reds through against a plucky Roman side, who were surprisingly sharp for having had such a long layoff from action. The goals were Torres' 84th, 85th, and 86th career GIMP goals and he is now all but guaranteed the golden boot this season.
