The following are the proposed changes that are to be voted on before the start of the Fall 2010 DFA season. As always, voting will take place via the "Comments" section at the bottom of the article. "Anonymous" votes will not be counted (Burns), so please use your proper account to log your opinions.
1. Number of days until forfeiture
Last season was a vicious cycle of 10 games in three days, followed by 3 weeks of inactivity. In order to preserve any kind of form and rhythm we must fix a hard and fast deadline for all matches. I propose a vote on what that deadline is to be.
a.) 10 days
b.) 12 days
c.) 14 days
2. Number of teams relegated
Now that the DFA is expanding, and we're set to have our largest ever league (potentially 10 members); it is time to re-assess the relegation format. Are 2 clubs still too many to relegate at the end of each league season? Is 1 club too few? How many clubs are to be "relegated"(current manager is effectively sacked, and that club is up for grabs next season)?

b.) 2 clubs
3. Keeping track of injuries
Bored with seeing the same starting 11 each and every game in all competitions? I sure am. Tired of managers with little to no knowledge of the strength in depth or tactical flexibility of their squads? I know I am. Like to see the clubs in multiple competitions suffer the ill effects of increased fixture lists? Of course you would. Keeping track of injuries is the tactical wrinkle needed to shake some dust off the season. Think of the tactical moves made when facing a critical run of matches. Take off your top scorer whilst he's on a hat trick and 2-nil up in order to keep him fit for your upcoming crucial league match? Or do you rest him altogether in the early rounds of the League Cup with important Champions Cup matches on the horizon? Rarely is a full-strength starting 11 fielded in real life, let the DFA continue to be the cutting edge mirror of reality that we so love.
An injury sustained will be recorded and reported and the injured player will miss his club's next match. Will injuries be recorded next season?

4. Playoff between 4th and 5th to enter Champions Cup
The Champions Cup has consisted of the same 4 clubs each year since its inception. Some have proposed a playoff system between the 4th and 5th place finishers in the league to determine who participates in the next season's Champion's Cup. The top three clubs will qualify automatically.
Will there be a home and away style playoff system to determine the Champion's Cup participants?
a.) Yes, there will be a playoff system starting after next season.
b.) No, there will not be a playoff system.
c.) Yes, with Roma playing Milan before this season to determine.
5. Playoff between second bottom and third bottom to determine relegation
Another playoff system has been proposed, this time to determine who is the second (if voted upon) club relegated. The club finishing bottom will be automatically relegated, the two above them will play a home and away legged playoff to determine who will join them in relegation.
Will a playoff determine the second club relegated?
a.) Yes, there will be a playoff system.
b.) No, there will not be.

5. B. No playoff except for a tie. If you are the bottom two point holders, your team is gone. Look at the disparity between 4th place and 5th place this year. Would it be fair if that kind of gap was between the 3rd bottom and 2nd bottom teams and the one who played better all season was relegated?

For Critt's comment... Look at the disparity between 1st and 2nd, 2nd and 3rd/4th. This rule will help people from coasting into "comfortable" finishes. Look at Tindle. He knew he wasn't going to get relegated this season and he made a joke of the league

2) The reason we did 1 team is b/c with 2 teams relegated, we'd start to run out of top-tier teams after a while. With managers keeping the same club, it adds more to the rivalry-- where everyone is known for the team they manage. In today's day where players switch teams every season, I guess the extensive turnover in our model fits.. If the big deal is for Ian to have Arsenal, I'll give them up right now and would rather stick to 1 team relegated.
