The results are in, the votes have been counted, the hanging chads and minority ballots chucked into the everglades, and the 12th it is...
The season will kick off, as always, with the Community Shield. Any matches can be played on the 12th, as long as they are in order. The same goes all season long. You may play your matches early, as long as you do not have an unplayed match in the same competition on the schedule prior to the match you wish to play early.
The FIFA 11 demo will be available for download on XBox live Marketplace 15 September. The full game will be released the 28th. This provides you with a maximum of 27 days to acclimate to the new feel of the game (over 39 days if you leave your first match late).
Opening Day Fixtures
Liverpool v Bayern
Chelsea v Roma
Internazionale v Manchester United
Manchester City v Barcelona
Arsenal v Real Madrid
Should've made t-rod play Ian in the first match. Maybe they'd actually play against each other then.
ReplyDeleteYou can pencil the Chelsea Roma game in for 11.5 days after opening night. Reason... Because Critt is a bottler when it comes to play matches on time.

3 people insulted
What is your problem? Haha you're so funny David. Yeah for you. You made more jokes.
Ingo. Not about you nor was it mean. Tindle and Ian didn't play a game against each other last season. That's a fact. Critt, unlike you can take a joke. Mind your own business I was talking about or to you.
ReplyDeleteGame of the day. Chelsea v Roma. Look for a new formation from Roma to effectively confuse and frustrate even the most overpaid merciless mercenary defenders in the game (for those who have been living under a rock for every year of the Russian oil era, I am talking of Chelsea).
ReplyDeleteI heard that Roman was actually the responsible party for the Gulf oil disaster. Something about the rich getting richer and double dipping, or something like that.
Interesting...
ReplyDeleteIf some one other than Ingo, who now just searches the blog looking for excuses to call me mean and stir up trouble, sees anything "insulting" about by first comment let me know.
David,
ReplyDeleteAs much as I hate coming to your defense, there are small bits of truth in every point of your first post. Yes, Tindle and Ian didn't play their last 3 matches last season and it is unclear if the will play each other this season. Only time will tell. And no one, not even me, would argue against the claim that I can, on some very rare occasions and under the most extreme conditions, let me matches drag out ever so slightly. I just don't like to rush through the season so I can "enjoy my game" that I paid money for.
The opening paragraph was hilarious by the way. Ingo trying to drag me through the mud yet again probably distracted from election joke. And ingo.... 0-3 in trying to turn people against me. Mind your own business
ReplyDeleteWoo!! Three days!!! Better start having your house mom pack your lunch to save up some cash ingo! Critt better find a place to set up his box soon and David better stop spending absurd amounts of green stocking up on multicolor bucktail jigs! there are only trout in st. pete anyway
ReplyDeleteSoooooo thats now 2 of the 3 managers that I've "insulted" commenting in a way that would indicate that they were fine with my comments. In fact Ian made a little joke at your expense Ingo, why don't you flip out on him too?
ReplyDelete"whats your problem"....whats your problem indeed incrow
Haha! Wow David! You took the time to write 4 extra comments about my comment. You managed to bring me up in everything little response you made to others. Not only that...but you then wrote a post about it! HAHAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteYou have a sick disease sir. Take it easy man. I just wrote 3 lines. Breath into a brown paper bag the next time your computer hits this website.
This reminds me of Danielle and Theresa fighting on desperate housewives...don't pretend you don't know who I'm talking about
