Gunner
Gaffer Adam Tindle has plenty to be proud of after finishing the campaign in
4th, securing a Champions Cup qualifier for next year and bringing in countless
revenue to his club. He's done all of this whilst balancing priorities in
competitions which is something the rest of the league has yet to understand.

"I'm
not sure 'visionary' quite describes it but it's close," said Tindle of
himself. "I understand how this league works and have prioritized the
competitions our club has a chance to win. For the others, I'll continue to pay
lip-service to our 'spirit' and just try to force the ball to players that have
a chance for end of season honours-- a page out of the book of Der Pruitt's
handling of Suarez basically."
It's
hard to argue with the points made as Tindle has taken one cup final to Extra
Time and is on the verge of two more in the DFA and Champions Cup competitions.
He's done this while focusing on the youthful players in league matches like 17
year-old Serge Gnabry who bagged the winner against Palermo. 19 year-old pair Thomas
Eisfeld and Nico Yennaris impressed in their midfield debut and youngster Ignasi Miquel cracked in
a header of his own in league play against PSG.
"At
a young age winning is not the most important thing... the important thing is
to develop creative and skilled players with good confidence," said
Tindle. "Financial fair play should be kicking in anytime and we've
positioned our club nicely by steadily raising ticket prices focusing
on the undervalued talent. We'll continue to develop that talent and sell to
the highest bidder. For now, this season is a success."

ReplyDelete4th place doesn't get you into the champions league in the GIMP. You still have 2 legs with Cushing to qualify and I believe he has been victorious in his last two meetings with you
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you don't play golf anymore (or do, but just don't invite me because of my advanced skill level) you're busy researching teenage soccer players and pretending like you really know this sh*t.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I second the whole Suarez bit...pretty sure no one else is allowed on the banner of the league home page.
ReplyDeleteLast season's player of the year is certainly an odd choice.
