5 Questions for Spring 2010; Well, 4 Questions, One Point of Interest

With the new Spring season fast approaching, what better time than now to look ahead and preview what could be in store for 2010.

-Can Milan save Ingoglia?

There was no doubt as to who the top managers were back in the early Pro Evolution days of the GIMP. The change in format has brought continued success for one, the other, has been a mere shell of his former self. The reasons for this gradual demise may be numerous (bizarre management decisions, over-reliance on high-paced play, failure to settle in with one club, etc.), but the bottom is line is singular. He must reverse this decline, and sharpish, if he is to save himself from GIMP irrelevancy. The DFA has become more competitive, and with a (relatively) even trophy spread last season, it appears the three-way tie for "second most successful manager" will more than likely be broken soon. The question is, will it be Ingoglia in the number two slot yet again?

-Group A

There could be no deadlier "Group of Death" than this season's Group A. The fates have handed down a potentially cracking group stage for the International Cup, as one group contains the only four DFA managers to have claimed silverware in their careers. Not to be overlooked, the even match-ups contained in Group B should provide entertaining fare as well.

-Can Liam Make Liverpool the Most Successful GIMP Club Ever?

With their back-to-back league titles, DFA Cup, and League Cup victories; Liverpool have already collected one more trophy than the successful Bayern Munich sides of 2006/2007. However, GIMP purists would argue that they should merely be considered "as successful" as each other, due to the League Cup's more recent inception. Claiming an unprecedented third league title in a row or second DFA Cup would rightly place Liverpool at the apex of DFA success, making them the showpiece club in the GIMP record books.

-Which Barca will we See?

A season of blistering highs, coupled with humbling lows. Such is the nature of the Barcelona beast. Seemingly dependent upon the availability of bifocals, sparking performances were as commonplace as abject defeats.

-Can Totti Finally Win the Golden Boot?

Roma's undisputed plan A-Z, but annual Golden Boot also-ran. Can Francesco Totti finally claim some individual honors; or will he forever be the DFA's Susan Lucci.
