Roma Romps to Semis

Champions Cup holders, Roma, have gotten their title defense back on track after final day heroics. A Luca Toni brace and some John Arne Riise insurance was enough to see the Romans through to the semifinal against Bayern Munich.

The result heaps more Champions Cup misery on Chelsea, finally knocking them out of the running for DFA's most prestigious honor. After slipping quite far behind Liverpool in the league table, and being dumped out rather easily in the league cup, it seems the DFA Cup will be their only shot at silverware this season.  

The first leg will take place in Rome, as Munich have the second leg home advantage due to their group stage finish. The winner over the 180 minutes will head to Merseyside to face Liverpool in the 2nd Champions Cup final.
