Dominate Liverpool Through to Season's 1st Final

Liverpool have booked their place in this season's first showpiece final. The League Cup holders are set to defend their crown on home soil after easily dispatching Bayern München this evening.

The GIMP's in-form side were irresistable as they poured forward, with 2 goals each from deadly duo Torres and Gerrard. Bayern was able to pull a consolation goal back after a goalmouth scramble, but it was obvious which side were in the driver's seat.

"I only have to beat Ingoglia, then I'm through. Simples," moaned Bayern's gaffer following the trouncing. There was no real tone of concern in his voice, symptomatic of his belief in his side's ability to sidestep Milan with ease.

Liverpool won the first 3-0 over Ingoglia's Tottenham Hotspur.
With 6 goals, Fernando Torres looks set to repeat as L.Cup top scorer.
Last season he won the Golden Boot with 7 goals.
