Chelsea manager, David Burns, has revealed today that he has decided not to rest any of his players in his upcoming match with Bayern Munich. Many believed that Burns would leave out the like of Drogba and Lampard to avoid any crucial injuries leading up to his match against Liverpool.
"It is important for us to go into the match with Liverpool with maximum points. Yes, Bayern are struggling at the moment, but their squad is too strong for us to rest any players and expect to win."
Burns believes that results against the likes of Bayern, Arsenal and Inter will be key in determining who wins the league this season.
"You'd have to say that Liverpool and Chelsea were the favorites before the season started to win the league. This year is a little different than the past though. It always would come down to our head to head matches and Pruitt always head the edge. This year, getting positive results against the other top clubs will be much more difficult. Bayern and Arsenal are fast and talented squads and Inter is out of this world. They will make it much more difficult to run away with the league."
