Critt's - ophrenic Roma Continue Roller Coaster Slide

Roma shrugged off the premier league doom and gloom hanging above them to dispatch Bayern München quite easily, 4-1. Manager Ian Thompson's pre-match confidence made little difference as Roma came out on top in the battle of the slow starters. The result puts Crittenden in the driver's seat to finish 3rd in the Champions Cup group stage, as he now holds his destiny in his own hands. 

As is customary this season, the Romans followed their brilliant performance with an utterly abject one. There's certainly no shame in losing to an unbelievably talented Real Madrid, but there certainly is some shame in the way Critt managed to capitulate so limply. 5-0 and a flurry of bookings does not bode well for the mental strength of this struggling side, who now sit just a point off the foot of the table.

Only time will tell if one of the DFA's former "Big Four" can turn this dreadful start around, or will the league see a solidification of the once whispered term, the "Big Two."
