Chelsea manager, David Burns, has announced that he will run the risk of getting knocked out of the DFA Cup in order to preserve his first team for his upcoming league match with Liverpool. Burns unveiled his starting 11 for the Bayern clash which includes 17 year old, Josh McEachran spearheading the Chelsea diamond.
"Its a risk that we must take if we want to win the league. I don't want to chance one of my key men picking up an injury in a second round FA Cup match when Liverpool is our next league opponent."
Chelsea hold a 5 point lead of the champions and a loss to Liverpool will add a tremendous amount of pressure on the back of the Pensioners going in to their last 4 matches of the season.
"We want to pick up at least a point. Our schedule down the stretch is extremely difficult and we want as big of a cushion as possible going into our matches against Arsenal and Inter."
