Les Bleus Burst into Int'l Competition

A 4-0 thrashing saw little known Montpellier boy Anthony Mounier make a huge impact in his opening match tonight for France. With 2 goals and the MOTM tag, Mounier will look to take that momentum into a fairly easy England match upcoming. 

Mounier lauds M. Tindle in post-match interviews

The winger heaped praise on his manager, Monsieur Adman, for his thoughtful squad selection as the the relatively unknown non-default player made a big difference. Tindle himself was unsurprisingly willing to accept said praise and had this to say:

"Sure, simply picking the default squad would've been easier but that's not my style of management. Those type of tactics can cause you to lazily/ignorantly overlook the Carlos Tevez-types that certainly seem to have a place on a roster."

"In addition, managers who exclude talent because of their own personal grudges or perceived lack of leadership in the clubhouse have been rightfully punished in the past. It's my job as the leader of this side to keep the player's attitudes in-check. I suppose less talented mgrs have found that too difficult a task."

"Aside from the obvious choices, it can be beneficial to dig into the talent pool and fill needs. Mounier has certainly shown that tonight and we still have a few other weapons that we're eager to showcase."

Ribery raises thumb after netting a brace

As for the match, squad staple Franck Ribery also caused all sorts of trouble for a helpless Holland that would concede a total of 4 goals without scoring one themselves. While NED hit the bar and had some hard luck with a deflected shot finding the net for the home side, France's dominance has fans wondering if they can repeat last years championship run and add yet another trophy to the cabinet. 

They showed in this match that they can work through the middle of the pitch (with Sami Nasri's pair of assists) and get their wing backs involved- each of whom had an assist themselves. In another example of quality management, selected captian Hugo Lloris responded to the gaffer's designation with a clean sheet.
