It seems to me that a lot of people are all ready writing off the The Three Lions and the Blues. The five man defense of Chelsea has had much success already against the Italian sides (both who have incredibly similar styles) and a new creative formation is being designed to match 'Pool's offensive power. Chelsea has a very favorable draw in the league cup, sorry Tindle, and is looking to take full advantage of that. Liverpool really seems to be the only threat to keep the mighty Blues from taking the leauge title. Even if the Reds take a lead in the league early Chelsea will remain confident. We all know what happens to LFC around the second half of the season. Look for Chels to make a strong push for the league title after the second round of the league cup matches are through.
As for the England saga....it seems that Critt has really done a great job at making me the bad guy here. Congrats big man. Also yes England has lost to Spain a few times already but lets keep in mind that England had a different 11 out on the pitch every game. Players were given chances and a final squad list is ready to be announced in a few days.
