Managers Beware- Rampant Rodding on Xbox Live

Apparently, rodding IS a habit, and one that has certainly caught on with the global community. For the few managers that are trying to sharpen their skills ahead of our most robust (10 club) competition in the GIMP's short history-- just know that you will be perfecting the first 89 minutes of each match. After that, expect to see this image and "Xbox dashboard" on your opponent's location.

As noted, the Gunners are working extremely hard this offseason and recently had a 7 match hell run where every single one ended early at the hands of an Arsenal opponent. And speaking of opponents, you can expect to play the same few teams in every match. Of the 7 played on Saturday, opponents were: Inter, Chelsea, Chelsea, Man U, Inter, Spain (yes, they will choose international teams even against clubs teams), and Real Madrid. Global glory hunting has caught on, but it may be a good thing for those of you looking to better your teams as, in the words of a collegiate baseball 1000 wins holder, it is a "microcosm" of our small competition, gentlemen.

You can get used to the all too familiar Drogba elbows throwing your helpless defenders to the side.. or a Milito a "long pass" goal (yes, this is common on xbox live).. or the blazing speed of Kaka "The Kid" down the sidelines as he crosses an off-balanced ball that sails over your keeper and finds its way into the net. Just be sure not to win the match if you'd like to finish it.
