Coming off a surprise third place finish in GIMP spring 2009, Man United manager Adam Tindle set his sites on the Emirates in an attempt to reunite with his original club. Sadly, these past two season have been nothing but a disappointment for the Gunners.
After barely escaping relegation thanks to an unprecedented move by the new Greetian Red Devil manager, things couldn't get much worse for the club. Frustrated shots made their way further and further towards midfield. With nothing to play for, it seems Arsenal were simply determined to disgrace the league while searching for the glitchiest of goals. Corners were routinely bent into the side netting in an attempt to sneak one in as has been done on the practice pitch. Red cards were raised almost as routinely as frosty mugs before games for Tindle. But, according to the manager, those days are a thing of the past.
Deciding to team up with former club manager, Arsene Wenger, Tindle hopes to get the club back to the classy style that once embodied Arsenal football. "Arsene is a true asset to this club, and we are happy to announce his return as a consultant. We have already benefited from his presence in the offseason as recognized by the few managers across the GIMP who are playing friendlies in an attempt to better their clubs." With new formations and added players, Arsenal looks promising going into a season where they have nowhere to go but up. The question is- can they compete with EA's darlings as the league continues to move towards managers hungry for player ratings over actual support for a club?
