| Four star Carroll redeems Pruitt's selection and tactics. |
A stellar night for the Liverpool reserves at Anfield as the Reds ran riot over Arsenal, 4-0. Pepe Reina kept his sixth clean sheet of the season, and Andy Carroll notched all four, taking his tally on the season to fifteen in all competitions. It was redemption of sorts for Pruitt, who was still smarting from his recent defeat in the International Cup final.
"It was good to get a bit of revenge. Granted the game meant nothing and we played with one eye on the League Cup final, but it's nice to be in the news for the right reasons this time."
Old Hit or Miss Andy Carroll

ReplyDeleteWhat would be your comments if miccoli scored all 4? How about RVP, drogba, robben?
ReplyDelete- "I bet Hernandez had 4 assists. Still can't believe Ian won 6-4."
ReplyDelete- "Poor Cush, merked by his own International striker."
- "Good to see someone still plays WE9."
- "Burns still hasn't got the whole, 'play him onto his right foot, not shepherd him to the edge of the 18' thing down yet, eh?"
That's about right
