There's no shame in making wing play and crosses plan A; but there is in expecting it to be somewhat effective when your tactics are so horribly incongruous. Whisper it, but a five-man midfield behind a solitary, 5'5" striker, may not be the best setup for such a philosophy. Especially (and hilariously) when you've a 6'7" behemoth of a forward on the bench. Right, Peter Crouch?
5. Palermo. No, Fiorentina. No, Tottenham.
One hilarious picture. One ostentatious mass text. Then finally, one misguided decision made for all the wrong reasons.

Not so much a blunder, as a flawed philosophy, here lies yet another Ingoglia tactic. Marauding, attacking play may seem glamorous; but surely actually, you know, winning is more so.
3. Manual Ingo
Anyone recall yet another "special announcement" from Incrow, this time mid-season? In one of his more amusing schemes to pull Spurs and Italy out of the collective toilet, he proclaimed himself the master of all things passing related. One week of games boasting 50% passing rates later, he was back to semi-assisted.
2. Five men back for the Arse
When your club's real life counterpart comfortably finishes top four in the most competitive league in Europe, one would be wise to take some cues from their team sheet. This holds especially true when your lineup consists of diminutive, pacey, attack-minded players.
1. "It appears the bottom 4 have been playing without goalkeepers!"
These empathetic words were uttered in the comments section of a post not a million miles from here by a certain man of grey persuasion. I shouldn't have to tell you how his next performance on the digital pitch went. Oh I do? Alright then, he was promptly tonked by a seven goal margin, conceding eleven in the process. If anyone is "playing without goalkeepers", surely its the man who etched his name into the record books this season for all the wrong reasons.
