As we all know, tonight is a big one for the likes of both David Burns and Adam Tindle who will face off in one of the most anticipated nights in the 2009 Winter/Spring G.I.M.P.D.F.A. season. To prepare for the game, Man U manager Adam Tindle has been studying the tactics of the boys in blue via matches against CPU opponents. The final match before the big game saw an event filled with aggressive play which is to be expected from Chelsea. FIFA '09 has been the crowning jewel of EA's franchise to-date, and none of this is more visible than in the programming of the Chelsea defaults. Conspiracy theorists have mentioned the idea of Chelsea G.I.M.P.D.F.A. manager David Burns possibly participating in a test studies at local EA facilities. The recent practice match played by Manchester United continues to add to the validity of this mass conspiracy. The shortened practice (only 6 min settings) saw a total of 6 bookings attributed to Chelsea, the most disgusting being a J. Cole red card that ended Wayne Rooney's day on the pitch with one sweeping blow to the knee. "I think we learned a lot tonight about the character of this Chelsea squad," said Tindle. "With Burns assisting in the programming at EA, they have effectively created a team that will do whatever it takes to win. Unfortunately, this stooped to a new low tonight with the record number of bookings in the shortened match. I only hope, for the safety of our players, and the integrity of this fine league, that this will not be an indication of the events to unfold tonight in the big match." The game ended in historic fashion as neither team could pull ahead in overtime, sending the teams to settle it in penalties. Though Man United did not have the option to call upon Rooney, they persevered and finished with the win after a top-notch effort from E. Van Der Sar, stopping 2 of Chelsea's attempts. It seems the boys at EA may have gotten the last laugh at Burns as they truly nailed all aspects of Chelsea, including their classic ability to fold under pressure.
