An eventful twenty-four hours in the league has seen one well-established, trophy-winning manager announce his eventual retirement, and yet another less-established, wind-up artist turn all misty-eyed(enough hyphens for you?).

One wonders if the announcement came simply as a knee-jerk reaction to a poor run of form, or a more calculated plot to land the Internazionale job next season. Regardless, the Sicilian's words have made waves throughout the league. All those reached for comment have expressed their concern and support for the embittered Milan boss.

Only time will tell whether or not Ingoglia can turn things around. If he is unable to he may very well be sacked before he can ride off into the sunset on his own; a scenario that would make the move to the San Siro's other dressing room that much easier.

If results do start to go Milan's way, per Burns' advice, one can only expect more of the Ingo-Burns love-in(& lovin'), and hopefully, many more of these lovely little photo-ops.
